woooowww my new kitchen looks amazing.....and thats without the bench tops on. They take a few weeks to make. So I guess we will move in with a tempory bench top in place. No painter again though. I'm sure I'm about to lose the plot with him. But I've learnt to take a big breath and breathe slower and control my outbursts (Much to hubbies relief!!) .....dont get me wrong I'm a very patient person but when you have a hill billy for a painter who prefers to go white baiting (out of season) of hunting for wild pigs instead of turning up to work it does get frustrating. Why we aren't using a proper painter you ask?.....well its down to money. Tony is good at painting but has the lack of a proper work ethic hence the price. Anyway he might just hear from me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. One patient person getting a bit female nutty.
Back to horses .....have had a nice time with my horses. It was getting late so I just played around in the paddock with both. I must admit my legs dont cope with too much schooling. Isn't it amazing how you have a couple of months off and your legs just go to the pack. So it was a good 20 minutes on each horse working on - walk to trot....trot to walk. All the time trying to maintain a good rhythm and working on the bit. With Trix we did a bit of work on canter strike offs. She was going really well but the ground was so wet that we need to save that type of work for sessions in Judes arena.
Jd is still for sale. Only one person has had a look and while they were lovely JD is not a horse for a complete beginner. I have another lovely sounding lady interested from Auckland. She sounds absolutely perfect. I'm finding the whole process very upsetting must say. I just wish we had more land so I could easily keep both. What to do?????.I just dont want to sell him to somebody who wont understand him and love him. He's a lovable sh#t ....in your face....obsessed with his stomach.....always needing to be number one.....me me me pain in the bum!!!!. But of course loads of fun and lovable.If only I could keep him!!!
