Trix and I ventured off to a practice Hunt today. It started sunny but windy. There were about 50 riders . Last year we hd a lot more but this year lots of people were over in HawksBay at the Horse of the Year.
We rode over two beautiful properties with fantastic jumps. Trix jumped spas and hedges with out batting an eye lid. We had a few interesting moments between fences. She wasn't sure about all the horses taking off over the paddocks.
Anyway we survived to tell the tale and made it home safely. Opening hunt is next weekend. At least I know the jumping will be great
