A ride up the road the day before my weekend of riding in a clinic had Eve and I discovering spring .....spring bulbs of every sort were flowering ....blossom is blooming and the golden elm has new leaves. Tonight is the first night in 4 months we haven't had a fire. I know there are still many cold nights to come but with the days getting longer and the horses shedding their coats it truely feels like summer is coming . Now if only the rain would stop!!

Our last day of Summer was Friday, Sept 21st, and now Autumn is here...with the change of the colors and cooler nights. We've not hit the rains yet, and have many fires burning in the state.
